This morning started out for me with an early run - a recovery run of four miles, which means a slow pace of about 9:30 to 9:45 a mile. In some ways, the slow, recovery runs are difficult as it really is tricky to maintain a pace in the high 9's, when I've run for years and years in the high 7's and low 8's.
On Sunday, I have a long run planned of eight miles which will be a nice way to finish out the week of running. I'm anticipating my long runs to go over 10 miles very soon, maybe in the next week or two.
